Charrilee Anne Wells, 41, of Parsons, KS, died Monday, July 25, 2022 at her home. Her death was unexpected.

She was born November 12, 1980, at her parents™ home at Parsons, assisted by Jo Anne Brummitt and Mona Harris. She was a daughter of Charles Eugene and Merrilee June Brummitt Wells. She was raised at Parsons and attended school there. As an adult she lived in Joplin, Independence, KS and Iola, KS and returned to Parsons in 2019. From 2004 until 2009 she was employed as a corrections officer at the Labette County Correctional Camp. Most recently, she worked at Pete™s Stockyard Travel Plaza.

Her hobbies included fishing and painting and she loved animals.

Survivors include two sons, Deacon Wells and Judah Wells, both of Parsons; four daughters, Miqukel Wright of Wichita Falls, TX, Cherokee Wright of Topeka, KS, Justice Wells of Parsons and Mercy Wells, who was lovingly adopted; her mother, Merrilee June Wells of Parsons; her father, Charles Eugene Wells and his wife, Judy of Parsons; three brothers, James Michael Wells and his wife, Stephanie of Lee™s Summit, Jonathan Wells of Parsons and Jeremiah Wells and his wife, Chelsey of Lee™s Summit; and two sisters, Carrie Cathleen Simeo of Broken Arrow, OK and Rebekah Wells of Parsons.

Her grandparents preceded her in death.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Parsons Recreation Center.
