Earl Douglas Finley, 83 of Trenton, passed away on September 17, 2022 at Liberty Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.
Doug was born on September 30, 1938 to Earl Revis and Pauline Naomi Potter Finley. He was a graduate of Trenton High School and earned an Associate™s Degree from NCMC.
He was a Corpsman in the United States Navy. After serving in the United States Navy, Doug went on to become a foreman at Donaldson Co. and also operated a small farm. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Chillicothe, Friendship No. 89.
Throughout his life Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, horses, collecting coins and anything to do with western history.
Doug is survived by his daughter, Lori Hopper of Chillicothe; son, Larry Finley of Trenton; daughter, Lynn Tucker (Tim) of Liberty; grandchildren, Sarah Keith, Adam Hopper, Zebulon Hopper (Cassie), Roselyn Perkins (Richard), Kaitlyn Muller (Fred), Chase Bowden, Hunter Tucker and Peyton Tucker; 12 great-grandchildren; nephew, Robert Jon Finley (Becky); great-nephews, Drue Finley and Joshua Finley; and best friend Robert Sims.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Revis and Pauline Naomi Potter Finley; brother, Robert Lee Finley; infant brother, Larry D. Finley; and niece, Kellie Finley.
