Tanner Mason Moore, beloved son and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Trenton. He was born on March 1, 1994, the son of Bob Moore and Rhonda Clark.
Tanner is survived by his parents, Rhonda Clark of Trenton and Bob (Tracy) Moore of Liberty; paternal grandmother, Joy Nichols; aunt, Cheryl (Danny) Moore; cousins, Kristi (Bobby) Burkeybile, Keri (Derrick) Gott and Kylie Moore; step-brothers, Kyle Stanley and Nick (Kelsey) Stanley; and step-sister, Jessica (Gus) Banderman.
Tanner was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Helen Clark; paternal grandfather, Donnie Moore; and uncle, Bill Moore.
Tanner completed his high school education at Savannah High School in 2012. He went on to pursue higher education in Fort Collins, CO. Tanner’s dedication and commitment were recognized when he achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout as a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, he was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
Tanner had a variety of interests and hobbies that brought him joy. One of his passions was competitive bowling, which took him to Vienna, Austria for international competition. He also enjoyed the art of restoring old cars. Tanner’s love for nature and the great outdoors led him to spend quality time hunting and fishing on family farms. He shared a special bond with his beloved dogs, Ash and Violet, who brought him comfort and companionship throughout his life.
Above all, Tanner will be remembered for his immense love for his family. His warm heart and kind spirit made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him. While his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2024 at South Evans Christian Church, northeast of Trenton. Burial will be in South Evans Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
