Mr. Scott Forman, an 86-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 8:37 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2024 at St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City.
Family visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.
Mr. Forman was born August 24, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Albert Forman and Mable York Evans. He graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Business Management and Sciences. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired employee of Trenton Foods.
He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Joseph L. Norton V.F.W. Post No. 919 and former member of the Trenton Rotary Club.
On February 13, 1965 he was married to Carolyn Crockett in Annandale, VA.
His survivors include his wife, Carolyn of the home; two daughters, Laura Shields and (Tim Stout) of Knoxville, TN and Anna Forman of Trenton; and one granddaughter, Savannah Shields Binder and husband, Nick of Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials to the Green Hills Animal Shelter may be left with the mortuary.
